2026 is a revaluation year for Canterbury, so our Assessor will be revaluing all properties in town.
Postcards were sent to property owners whose property was sold or had recent/new construction. Our Assessor will need to visit the property to verify property data. Information from sales and the property characteristics will be used to help establish fair and accurate values as part of the Town’s upcoming town-wide revaluation.
Scheduling an appointment allows the visit to occur at a convenient time; however, to ensure the accuracy of the assessment record, the Assessor will need to review the property whether or not an appointment is scheduled.
