What Do We Do?
Set goals, strategies, and recommendations for recycling, revenue, and efficiencies to improve solid waste management in Canterbury.
Our goals are to:
- Inform the town’s citizens about topics related to solid waste management
- Explore the latest recycling methods, issues, and practices
- Research and recommend improvements to expand efficiency in current practices to lessen the burden on taxpayers
When Do We Meet?
The Solid Waste Committee meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 3:30 pm in the Meeting House.

Solid Waste Committee members are appointed by the Selectboard and have a term duration of 3 years.
